6.3 Any applicable GST or other taxes will be charged and reflected in the applicable invoice or payment documentation in accordance with applicable law.
6.4 The payment schedule will depend on the relevant Booking. An advance payment is required to confirm a Booking. The balance is generally payable on or by completion of the Event, unless different payment terms have been communicated or agreed.
6.5 For corporate or other B2B engagements, payment schedules may instead be governed by the relevant quotation, proposal, purchase order, invoice, statement of work or other written commercial arrangement.

- additional Participants;
- additional time;
- additional materials;
- additional customisation;
- additional travel or logistics;
- Venue-related requirements;

8.1 Where the Customer arranges the Venue, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that the Venue is reasonably suitable for the agreed Experience.
8.2 MakerMasti conducts Experiences at both indoor and outdoor venues, depending on the selected Experience, Venue suitability, operational requirements and other relevant circumstances.

- tables;
- chairs;
- electricity;
- water; or
- other general Venue infrastructure.
Specific requirements will be communicated where applicable.
8.5 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that MakerMasti personnel have reasonable access to the Venue for setup, execution and dismantling.
8.6 If the Venue is not ready when MakerMasti arrives, MakerMasti will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the delay where operationally possible.
However, a significant Venue-related delay may affect the start time, duration or scope of the Event.
8.7 Where a delay is substantial, MakerMasti may be unable to extend the Event beyond the originally scheduled end time.
9. Birthday Experiences
9.1 MakerMasti’s children’s birthday Experiences are generally designed for children between 4 and 14 years of age, subject to the particular Experience.
9.2 The standard minimum number of child Participants for a birthday Experience is 10 children, unless otherwise agreed.
9.3 The maximum number of Participants depends on the selected Experience, Venue, available space and operational capacity.
9.4 Additional Participants may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional charges depending on the selected Experience or theme.
9.5 Adults are not counted as Participants included within the standard children’s Experience unless specifically stated otherwise.
9.6 The standard customer-facing duration of a birthday Experience is up to 90 minutes, unless otherwise agreed.
9.7 Children who arrive late may not be able to participate in the entire Experience.
9.8 Where an Event begins late because of Customer or Participant delays, MakerMasti may need to shorten the Experience to maintain the scheduled end time.
9.9 A child may choose not to participate in a particular activity or portion of an Experience.
9.10 The specific age suitability, Participant capacity, duration and requirements of an Experience may vary by theme.
10. Food, Drinks and Other Venue Considerations
For safety and operational reasons, MakerMasti generally prefers that food and drinks are not consumed during active Experience sessions, particularly where materials, equipment or demonstrations are being used.
Customers are encouraged to arrange food, cake and other refreshments separately from the active Experience area wherever reasonably practicable.
The Customer should also inform MakerMasti in advance about Venue restrictions or requirements concerning:
- food;
- drinks;
- pets;
- smoke;
- candles;
- confetti;
- decorations; or
- other materials or activities that may affect the Experience.
11. Children’s Participation and Supervision
11.1 MakerMasti’s team facilitates and conducts the Experience.
11.2 MakerMasti does not ordinarily require parents or guardians to actively supervise children as part of the Experience. However, parents, guardians or responsible adults remain responsible for the children in their care and should remain reasonably available during the Event.
11.3 The Customer should inform MakerMasti in advance of information that may reasonably affect a child’s safe participation, including where applicable:
- relevant allergies;
- sensitivities;
- accessibility requirements;
- medical or safety considerations; or
- other circumstances that may affect participation.
11.4 Children are expected to follow reasonable instructions provided by MakerMasti personnel.
11.5 Participation in individual activities is voluntary.
11.6 MakerMasti may modify, pause or stop an activity where it reasonably considers that continuing may create a safety concern.
11.7 Where a child’s behaviour creates a material safety risk to the child, another Participant, MakerMasti personnel, equipment or the Venue, MakerMasti may ask the child to stop participating in the relevant activity.
12. Safety
12.1 MakerMasti’s Experiences may involve hands-on interaction with materials, equipment and demonstrations.
12.2 Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions provided by MakerMasti personnel.
12.3 The Customer should disclose relevant information reasonably necessary to help MakerMasti plan appropriate participation.
12.4 MakerMasti may modify or replace an activity where reasonably necessary because of safety considerations, material availability, Venue conditions or other operational circumstances.
12.5 MakerMasti will not knowingly require a Participant to undertake an activity where MakerMasti has been informed of a relevant restriction that makes that activity inappropriate, subject to the information actually provided to MakerMasti.
13. Event Duration and Late Arrivals
13.1 The scheduled Event time and duration will be communicated as part of the Booking.
13.2 Customers and Participants should be ready at the agreed start time.
13.3 If Participants arrive late, MakerMasti may proceed with the Event as scheduled.
13.4 Where necessary to maintain the agreed end time, the Experience may be shortened.
13.5 MakerMasti is not required to extend an Event solely because Participants arrived late.
13.6 Any extension of the Event beyond the agreed duration will be subject to MakerMasti’s availability and may incur additional charges.
14. Changes to an Experience
14.1 MakerMasti aims to deliver each Booking substantially in accordance with the agreed scope.
14.2 MakerMasti may make reasonable changes to:
- activities;
- demonstrations;
- materials;
- props;
- equipment;

14.3 Where a change materially affects the agreed Experience, MakerMasti will make reasonable efforts to communicate the change to the Customer.
14.4 MakerMasti may provide an alternative element where reasonably necessary to preserve the overall nature and purpose of the Experience.
15. Customer-Requested Changes
15.1 Requests to change the date, Venue, Experience, Participant numbers, duration, customisation or other Booking details are subject to availability and feasibility.
15.2 Changes requested after confirmation may result in additional charges.
15.3 Any increase in cost arising from a Customer-requested change may be communicated to and payable by the Customer before the change is implemented.
15.4 MakerMasti cannot guarantee that last-minute requests can be accommodated.
16. Cancellation by the Customer
16.1 A Customer may request cancellation of a confirmed Booking.
16.2 Because MakerMasti may allocate personnel, materials, equipment, logistics and other resources to a confirmed Event, cancellation charges may apply.
16.3 The applicable cancellation charge will depend on factors including:
- timing of the cancellation;
- nature of the Experience;
- resources already committed;
- materials or services already procured;
- third-party costs;
- customisation or production already undertaken; and
- other circumstances relevant to the Booking.
16.4 The applicable cancellation charge or refund, if any, will be communicated to the Customer based on the particular Booking.
16.5 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, cancellation does not automatically entitle the Customer to a full refund of amounts already paid.
16.6 Any refund that is approved will be processed through the applicable payment method or process used by MakerMasti.
16.7 Where a Booking involves non-recoverable third-party, production, procurement or customisation costs, those costs may be considered when determining the applicable cancellation amount.
17. Rescheduling and Postponement
17.1 A Customer may request to reschedule a confirmed Event.
17.2 MakerMasti will generally permit one or two rescheduling requests, depending on the Booking and circumstances.
17.3 A rescheduling request should ordinarily be made at least 5 days before the scheduled Event date.
17.4 Rescheduling is subject to availability.
17.5 A requested new date may have different pricing where additional costs, Venue costs, logistics, materials, staffing or other expenses apply.
17.6 If a Customer requests a new date that results in additional costs, MakerMasti may charge the applicable difference.
17.7 Requests made less than 5 days before the Event may be considered depending on the circumstances and operational feasibility, but MakerMasti does not guarantee that such requests can be accommodated.
17.8 Where postponement results from weather, Venue restrictions, safety considerations or other circumstances outside reasonable control, MakerMasti will make reasonable efforts to identify an appropriate alternative arrangement.
17.9 Production, vendor, procurement, logistics or other costs already incurred may remain payable where they cannot reasonably be recovered.
18. Outdoor Events and Weather
18.1 MakerMasti conducts both indoor and outdoor Experiences. The suitability of a particular Venue and format will depend on the selected Experience and the conditions at the Venue.
18.2 Weather and environmental conditions may affect the safe or practical delivery of an outdoor Event.
18.3 Where weather conditions materially affect an outdoor Event, MakerMasti may recommend or require modification, relocation or postponement where reasonably necessary for safety or operational reasons.
18.4 The commercial consequences of such postponement or modification will depend on the particular Booking and any costs already incurred.
19. Event Venue Restrictions
The Customer is responsible for informing MakerMasti of Venue restrictions that may affect the Event. These may include restrictions concerning:
- materials;
- demonstrations;
- electricity;
- water;
- access;
- setup;
- sound;
- photography;
- outdoor activities;
- timing;
- movement of equipment; or
- other operational requirements.
If an undisclosed Venue restriction prevents MakerMasti from delivering part of the agreed Experience, MakerMasti may reasonably modify that part of the Experience.

20.5 Venue permissions: The party responsible for obtaining Venue permissions will be identified in the relevant commercial arrangement.

20.8 Multi-location and multi-day engagements: Multi-location or multi-day projects may be subject to separate commercial, logistical and operational terms.
